Throughout the Survival Spanish series Vivian looked more anglo than hispanic, as in the photo above. The picture below however captures an instant when her Cuban-American heritage shows through more clearly. Looking and sounding like an all-American girl from the midwest,  Vivian had become so fluent in english that at times it was hard to believe she had a hispanic background at all. 

The travel poster at right also conveys the idea that there's more to Cuba than just Castro.
